A core team, led by master Taylor craftsmen Chris Wellons and Joe Bina, will oversee the creation of your BTO guitar. Woods are meticulously selected to meet the criteria you specify, then carefully prepared for the building process. It’s an organic approach that combines personal attention with high-tech precision.

Your local Taylor dealer will serve as your BTO design partner. Most dealers have spent extended time at the Taylor factory and are well-versed in the details of the program. They have BTO worksheets with all the available options and price points, plus our inlay guide, and will walk you through all the specs categories. Once an order is submitted, Chris and Joe personally check it to ensure that everything is in order. Whether you love to revel in fine guitar details or tend to focus on key ingredients like body shape and woods and want our recommendations, our BTO team is here to help.
